The Pryor Tigers basketball team (Pryor, OK), was nudged 42-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK)
The Hornets now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Locust Grove for a Verdigris Valley battle on Saturday, January 20. Vinita will battle a Pirates team coming off a 58-21 league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 9-3.
The Tigers (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Collinsville (Collinsville, OK). The Cardinals come into the 5A District 3 battle with a 5-7 record.
