The Springer Red Devils basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Quemado Eagles to 42 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lordsburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Springer will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 59-33 non-league win over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Mavericks record now stands at 8-7.
