Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodland Cougars (Fairfax, OK), 52-15 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sperry upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Olive (Drumright, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Olive won 48-17 in their recent league bout against Yale (Yale, OK)

Next up, the Cougars play the Yale Bulldogs (Yale, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 48-17 league loss to Olive (Drumright, OK).
