Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wellesley upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Walpole (Walpole, MA) to clash with the Timberwolves in a Bay State - Herget bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Walpole won 59-37 in their recent non-league bout against Newton North (Newtonville, MA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Brookline Warriors (Brookline, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Weymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
