The Foster Falcons held off the visiting Lamar Texans soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league match.
The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Randle for a 5A Region 3 District 20 match on Tuesday, January 23. Foster will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Stafford (Stafford, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
The Texans (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Heights (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region 3 District 18 battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Heights nipped Summer Creek (Houston, TX), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
