In Friday's non-league challenge, the Greece Storm Titans (Rochester, NY) ice hockey team nudged the host Saranac Spartans (Saranac, NY), by a margin of 4-3.
The Titans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster Schroeder for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2.
The Spartans (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record.
