Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - New Canaan knocks off Prout

January 19, 2024: New Canaan, CT 06840

The New Canaan Rams trounced the visiting Prout Crusaders ice hockey squad by a count of 7-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

With the victory, New Canaan moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to confront the in a FCIAC bout on Tuesday, January 23. The go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

The Crusaders now sport a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Darien for a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. Prout will confront a Blue Wave squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Stamford/Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 6-1.
