The Evans Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Eustis Panthers to 43 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leesburg for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 24. Evans will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-1.
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Apopka (Apopka, FL). The Blue Darters enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Apopka was routed by Ocoee (Ocoee, FL), 41-36, in a league contest.
