Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) and the visiting University Cougars (Orlando, FL), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off University by a count of 49-43.

With the victory, Horizon upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL) to play the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Lake Mary Prep won 47-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Altamonte Christian (Altamonte Springs, FL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
