Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA), 44-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Willapa Valley upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Mossyrock lost 51-48 in their recent non-league bout against Naselle (Naselle, WA)

Next up, the Fishermen play the Ocosta Wildcats (Westport, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Ilwaco will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 44-37 non-league win over South Bend (South Bend, WA).
