Next, the Panthers confront the Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 12 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Midway will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Hippos enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 1-1 non-league McCallum (Austin, TX).

The Kangaroos now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waco for a 5A Region 3 District 22 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. Killeen will confront a Lions team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Midway (Waco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
