In Sunday's league contest, the host West Catholic Burrs basketball team scored a close 59-53 triumph over the Archbishop Carroll Patriots.
The Burrs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA). The Crusaders go into the Philadelphia Catholic contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Lansdale Catholic was tipped by St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA), 85-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic contest, on Friday, January 24. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 68-57 league win over Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA).
