New York High School Basketball - New London thwarts Chaminade

The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the New London Whalers (New London, CT) and the host Chaminade Flyers (Mineola, NY), observed New London's basketball team knock off Chaminade by a score of 57-46.
The Whalers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Vikings come into the Eastern Connecticut I challenge with a 6-5 record.
In their next game, the Flyers encounter the St. John the Baptist Cougars (West Islip, NY) in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk challenge, on Friday, January 24. Chaminade will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
