The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Winston Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host TPLS Christian Academy Lions (Richmond, VA), observed Winston Salem Christian's basketball team overcome TPLS Christian Academy by a score of 60-50.
The Lions (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Miller School of Albemarle defeated Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. TPLS Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 72-13 non-league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
