Washington High School Basketball - Ferndale knocked off by Bellingham

The Bellingham Bayhawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Ferndale Golden Eagles to 48 in the Bayhawks league triumph on Monday.
The Bayhawks now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Thursday, January 5. Bellingham will meet a Lions team coming off a 80-26 league win over Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
The Golden Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Oak Harbor was defeated by Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 78-38, in a league contest.
