The Dallas Mountaineers basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Lake-Lehman Knights to 30 in the Mountaineers non-league victory on Monday.

The Mountaineers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wyoming Valley West for a Wyoming Valley 1 contest on Wednesday, January 4. Dallas will meet a Spartans team coming off a 61-48 league loss to Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-7.

With the defeat, Lake-Lehman moves to 0-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to meet the Royals in a Wyoming Valley 2 match on Wednesday, January 4. The Royals enter the match with a record of 4-2. Holy Redeemer won 63-44 in their recent league match against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA)
