In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Negaunee Miners basketball team scored a good 74-58 triumph over the Escanaba Eskymos.
In their next game, the Miners meet the Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI) in a Western Peninsula match, on Thursday, January 5. Negaunee will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
