With the victory, Vian improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Howe (Howe, OK) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Gore will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 54-48 league win over Westville (Westville, OK).
