In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Renaissance Phoenix basketball team scored a good 76-58 triumph over the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors.
In their next game, the Phoenix meet the Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I match, on Tuesday, January 3. Renaissance will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Doughboys enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 88-57 non-league loss to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
With the defeat, Hammond Bishop Noll moves to 6-5 on the year. The Warriors host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to meet the Wildcats in a Greater South Shore match on Friday, January 6.
