Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) and the visiting Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH), saw Parkersburg South's basketball squad hold off Tri-Village by a tally of 69-63.

With the victory, Parkersburg South improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to confront the Mohigans in a Two Rivers challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Mohigans come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Morgantown won 83-55 in their recent non-league challenge against University (Morgantown, WV)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) in a Western Ohio challenge, on Friday, January 6. Tri-Village will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Eaton (Eaton, OH).
