High School Basketball - Tournament Team topples Patriot Prep Academy

In Monday's non-league outing, the Tournament Team (, ) basketball squad beat the visiting Patriot Prep Academy Eagles (Columbus, OH), by a count of 64-48.

The (7-17) will now prepare for their outing against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, De La Salle was topped by Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 56-43, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grove City Christian for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 5. Patriot Prep Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 67-38 non-league win over East Knox (Howard, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
