The Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) basketball felled the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), 46-33 in Monday's non-league test.
The Huskies (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs go into the test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Damonte Ranch was beaten by Douglas (Minden, NV), 57-44, in a non-league test.
The Vaqueros now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Creek for a test on Friday, January 6. Fernley will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 36-28 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-3.
