Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. John Woodchucks (St. John, ND) and the visiting Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND), saw St. John's basketball squad hold off Cavalier by a tally of 56-51.
With the victory, St. John improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Woodchucks host Dunseith (Dunseith, ND) to confront the Dragons in a B Region 4 challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Dunseith lost 44-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND)
Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Minto (Minto, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Cavalier will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record.
