Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting New London Tigers (New London, IA), 59-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA) to play the Bloodhounds in a Southeast bout on Friday, January 6. The Bloodhounds come into the bout with a record of 3-3.
