With the victory, Salem moves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Rocks travel to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to confront the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-4. South Lyon East lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Plymouth (Canton, MI)

The Shamrocks now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Canton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. Catholic Central will confront a Chiefs squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 13-3.
