Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 73-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hermitage upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to play the Crimson Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Crimson Wave go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Petersburg lost 67-40 in their recent non-league bout against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Royals play the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Prince George will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 74-55 non-league loss to Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA).
