With the victory, Astoria/VIT improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Rebels host Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL) to play the Spartans in a Prairieland challenge on Friday, January 5. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Bushnell-Prairie City lost 53-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) in a Tomahawk challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Greenview will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record.
