The Baxter basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Janesville Wildcats to 51 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunkerton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Baxter will meet a Raiders team coming off a 90-75 league win over GMG (Garwin, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-1.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Meskwaki Settlement (Tama, IA). The Warriors enter the Iowa Star contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Meskwaki Settlement was nudged by Baxter (Baxter, IA), 95-33, in a non-league contest.
