Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Benton ripped by Northwest Area

The Northwest Area Rangers basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Benton Tigers to 29 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rangers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sullivan County for a Midd-Penn contest on Friday, January 5. Northwest Area will battle a Griffins team coming off a 55-41 league win over Millville (Millville, PA). The Griffins record now stands at 3-6.

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders enter the Midd-Penn contest with a 3-5 record.
