The Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) basketball nipped the host Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH), 69-67 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Tecumseh (New Carlisle, OH). The Arrows go into the Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Tecumseh got by Northwestern (Springfield, OH), 72-38, in a non-league test.
