The Camanche Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the host West Branch Bears to 44 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodward Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Camanche will battle a Knights team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cascade (Cascade, IA). The Cougars enter the River Valley contest with a 5-2 record.
