Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Chadron Cardinals (Chadron, NE), 61-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bison host Bennett County (Martin, SD) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Bennett County won 64-35 in their recent non-league bout against Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE) in a C1 District 12 bout, on Saturday, January 6. Chadron will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
