Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Newkirk Tigers (Newkirk, OK), 87-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Chisholm upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Perry (Perry, OK) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK) in a 89er - West bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Newkirk will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
