Hernando Christian Academy Lions (Brooksville, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Classical Prep Lions (Spring Hill, FL), 61-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Hernando Christian Academy upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Lions host Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic won 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks (Brandon, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Classical Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Florida College Academy (Temple Terrace, FL).
