Maryland High School Basketball - Clear Spring ripped by Middletown

The Middletown Knights basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Clear Spring Blazers to 34 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brunswick for a CMC contest on Friday, January 5. Middletown will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 72-53 non-league loss to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD). The Railroaders record now stands at 1-9.
The Blazers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Leopards enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Smithsburg triumphed over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD), 72-55, in a league contest.
