The Yutan Chieftains basketball team (Yutan, NE), was routed 49-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE)
The Mustangs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Lutheran for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 4. Concordia will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Platteview (Springfield, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 9-1.
The Chieftains (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE). The Raiders come into the C2 District 3 battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Brownell Talbot was routed by Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE), 65-31, in a non-league battle.
