Texas High School Basketball - First Baptist edged by Covenant

The First Baptist Saints basketball team (Dallas, TX), was nudged 44-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Covenant Knights (Dallas, TX)

The Knights now possess a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to All Saints Episcopal for a TAPPS 4A District 2 battle on Friday, January 5. Covenant will confront a Trojans team coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Troup (Troup, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.

The Saints (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Prestonwood Christian North (Prosper, TX). The come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record.
