Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) and the visiting Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD), saw Sturgis Brown's basketball squad knock off Custer by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Sturgis Brown improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Scoopers travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Winner Warriors (Winner, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Custer will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 39-18 non-league win over Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD).
