Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Early College Sharks (Yonkers, NY) and the host North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY), saw Early College's basketball squad knock off North Rose-Wolcott by a count of 53-39.

With the victory, Early College upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY) to play the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Griffins come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. World of Inquiry lost 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles (Clyde, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne challenge, on Thursday, January 4. North Rose-Wolcott will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 60-49 non-league loss to Red Jacket (Shortsville, NY).
