East Limestone Indians (Athens, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL), 62-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Limestone upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Indians host Columbia (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Columbia lost 64-35 in their recent non-league bout against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Randolph School Raiders (Huntsville, AL) in a 4A Area 15 bout, on Friday, January 5. West Limestone will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 69-63 non-league loss to Fairview (Cullman, AL).
