The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Red Hawks basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Mauston Golden Eagles to 55 in the Red Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Red Hawks now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Black River Falls for a Coulee contest on Thursday, January 4. Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-64 non-league loss to Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-6.

The Golden Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI). The Green Devils come into the South Central contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Adams-Friendship was routed by Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI), 76-63, in a non-league contest.
