The Hillsboro Tigers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Viroqua Blackhawks to 71 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cashton for a Scenic Bluffs contest on Thursday, January 4. Hillsboro will meet a Eagles team coming off a 72-41 non-league win over La Farge (La Farge, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
The Blackhawks (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Westby (Westby, WI). The Norsemen enter the Coulee contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Westby was nudged by Aquinas (La Crosse, WI), 80-60, in a non-league contest.
