In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD), by a margin of 64-34.
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Warner (Warner, SD). The Monarchs go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Warner was trounced by Groton (Groton, SD), 69-34, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Florence/Henry for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Northwestern Area will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 76-36 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 2-4.
