The Jennings Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting North Central Hurricanes to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Welsh for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Jennings will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Merryville (Merryville, LA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-8.
The Hurricanes (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Charging Indians enter the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Washington-Marion ran past Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA), 47-44, in a non-league contest.
