Kingwood Park Panthers (Kingwood, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Fork Gators (Kingwood, TX), 56-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kingwood Park upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Madisonville (Madisonville, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-12. Madisonville lost 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Mumford (Mumford, TX)

Next up, the Gators play the Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) in a 4A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, January 5. West Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 8-16 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Dayton (Dayton, TX).
