The Newtown Pioneers topped the visiting Lane Knights basketball team by a final score of 83-75 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Queens Complex (Queens, NY) in a PSAL AAA Queens I game, on Tuesday, January 9. Newtown will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record.
With the defeat, Lane moves to 8-1 on the year. The Knights host Lehman (Bronx, NY) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, January 15. The Lions enter the game with a record of 1-6.
