The Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX), 72-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 3A Region I District 3 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Lamesa was trounced by Brownfield (Brownfield, TX), 74-50, in a league test.

The Lobos now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Levelland will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 58-24 non-league win over Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Indians record now stands at 15-9.
