Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ), 72-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Linden upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a Union County bout on Thursday, January 4. The Minutemen come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Elizabeth lost 69-47 in their recent non-league bout against Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD)

Next up, the Indians play the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) in a Union County bout, on Thursday, January 4. Rahway will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 70-51 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, NJ).
