Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Vincennes Rivet Patriots (Vincennes, IN), 71-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Miners host Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Evansville Christian won 58-57 in their recent non-league bout against Brownstown Central (Brownstown, IN)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Loogootee Lions (Loogootee, IN) in a Blue Chip bout, on Friday, January 5. Vincennes Rivet will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IN).
