The West Springfield Terriers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Longmeadow Lancers to 44 in the Terriers non-league win on Tuesday.

With the win, West Springfield upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Terriers travel to Taconic (Pittsfield, MA) to play the Thunder in a Suburban - North bout on Friday, January 5. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Taconic won 57-50 in their recent non-league bout against Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Longmeadow will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA).
